E2010 Community Service Credit

We welcome student volunteers and encourage their engagement at all levels of planning and carrying out E2010 activities. All students who are either in high school or are high school age or older, or college level are welcome to volunteer in E2010 activities. For students attending high schools that offer community service credits to their students, listed below are E2010's guidelines.

Eligibility | It is up to the student (and his or her parent/guardian where applicable) to review their school's Community Service Guidelines to ensure that their participation in E2010 activities complies with their school's requirements. Students are urged to consult their school officials to discuss their activity prior to beginning volunteering with E2010, if they wish to obtain school credit for their participation.

E2010 Community Service Application | Each student must fill out an E2010 Community Service Application. All applications must be signed by student's school. Students under 18 years of age are required to have a parent/guardian signature (consent form is on the back of the application) prior to the start of his or her activity. Students who do not have proper signatures on their applications will not be allowed to apply for Community Service Credits. Students under the age of 18 will not be allowed to volunteer without written consent from a parent/guardian. Fill out the form below to receive an E2010 Community Service Application.

E2010 Community Service Guide | Each student applying for Community Service Credits will receive a copy of the E2010 Community Service Guide. Students must read the guide prior to volunteering for any activity.

Community Service Time Sheet Form | Each student must have his or her school's form and bring it with them to each activity for signature by the designated E2010 Student CSC. Under no circumstances will E2010 sign for a student's participation if the student does not have his or her school's official CS Time Sheet Form.

Evaluation of Community Service | Students who participate in planning activities for the E2010 all youth activity will be evaluated by E2010 staff. Evaluation will be discussed with each student prior to submission to the student's school.

Certificates of Appreciation | All students who successfully complete their volunteer activity will receive a Certificate of Appreciation along with a letter of advisement to their school. Students who participate for 20 hours or more, or on extended or multiply volunteer projects will also receive a Letter of Commendation, a copy of which will be submitted to their school.
