NoDropouts: Did you know that every year approximately 1.2 million high school students dropout. Some may return to alternative learning centers to receive a General Education Diploma. High school experience is a pivotal learning step in transitioning to higher education. The crisis we face with the mass exodus of our youth from this experience has a devastating impact on our youth and the communities where they live. 

Race an Education: Instead of the negative impact of institutionalized racism in our urban centers, its increasing. But so is awareness and the determination to resolve this ugly practice. We cannot fix our neighborhoods in urban centers without addressing the role race plays in education. Likewise, we cannot fix our economy if our urban centers do not thrive and grow.
